Immediate Cremation

Immediate cremation, also known as direct cremation, is our most simple and affordable service option. Without a formal funeral service or viewing, your loved one is transferred directly into our care and cremated in a timely manner. The cremated remains are then returned to the family in a dignified and respectful way.

This option is chosen by families seeking a straightforward, no-frills approach — whether for personal, financial, or practical reasons — while still ensuring their loved one is treated with the utmost care and respect.

As the only funeral home family in San Francisco and San Mateo Counties that owns and operates its own crematory, we are able to keep your loved one in our care from the moment they are entrusted to us through the completion of the cremation process — eliminating third-party involvement and giving your family complete confidence and peace of mind.

Identification Viewing

An identification viewing offers family members the opportunity to have a brief, private moment with their loved one prior to immediate cremation. This informal gathering provides a sense of closure and a final farewell without the formality or expense of a traditional funeral service or viewing.

We understand that even when families choose direct cremation, the need to say goodbye is deeply personal and important. Our staff will ensure your loved one is presented with care and dignity, and that the space is arranged in a way that feels peaceful and comfortable for those who gather. There are no formal ceremonies or requirements — simply a quiet, intimate time for family and close friends to be present and find comfort in one another.

For families who wish to spend a quiet moment with their loved one prior to burial or cremation, a private identification viewing may be arranged Monday through Friday by appointment. These viewings are limited to 20 minutes; no formal visitation or service is included. The deceased will be placed in a Union Flannel Gray cloth-covered fiberboard viewing container in a private viewing room. Attendance is limited to five immediate family members. After-hours and weekend appointments may be available for an additional fee. Please speak with our staff for scheduling and availability.

Traditional Funeral with Cremation

A traditional funeral service is a time-honored way to celebrate a life and bring family and friends together to grieve, remember, and find comfort in one another. Rooted in ritual and reverence, a traditional service provides the structure and formality that many families find essential — creating a lasting memory and a meaningful opportunity to say goodbye. A traditional funeral service typically includes a formal visitation and viewing, allowing family and close friends to gather and pay their respects in a personal and intimate setting. This is followed by a funeral ceremony at a church or in our chapel that may incorporate readings, eulogies, musical selections, and religious or cultural traditions that reflect the faith, values, and personality of your loved one. Our experienced staff works closely with your family, clergy, or celebrant to ensure every element of the service is thoughtfully arranged and personally meaningful. We welcome families to hold services in our chapel, which provides a warm and comfortable setting for gatherings of all sizes. For families who prefer to hold services at their church, parish, or another facility, we are fully equipped to coordinate all arrangements off-site, ensuring a seamless and dignified experience regardless of location.

From floral arrangements and personalized programs to register books, thank you cards, and memorial keepsakes, our team attends to every detail so your family can focus on what matters most — honoring your loved one and being present with the people who matter most to you. We are here to guide you through every step of the process with the care, compassion, and professionalism your family deserves.

Custom Memorial Services

Every life is unique, and a memorial service should reflect that. We offer fully customized services that celebrate who your loved one was — their passions, personality, and the legacy they leave behind. From personalized music, readings, and floral arrangements to themed tributes and custom keepsakes, we work closely with your family to create a meaningful experience that honors their memory in a way that feels truly personal.

For families who wish to gather and remember their loved one following the cremation, a memorial service can be arranged at a later date — offering flexibility while still providing a meaningful opportunity to celebrate and honor the life lived. Whether you choose our chapel, an off-site venue, or an outdoor setting such as a community park or garden, we are here to help create a fitting tribute. We can assist with every detail, including floral arrangements, easels, personalized programs, lecterns, register books, thank you cards, and memorial keepsakes. For families with specific religious or cultural traditions, we can also provide appropriate religious items and coordinate with clergy or celebrants to ensure the service reflects your family’s beliefs and customs.

Gravesite Service

A gravesite service is a simple and intimate alternative to a traditional funeral, held directly at the burial site rather than in a church or chapel. Gathered at the graveside, family and close friends come together in a setting that is both personal and immediate — offering a quiet and meaningful farewell in the very place where their loved one will be laid to rest.

While a gravesite service does not include a formal visitation or viewing, it is by no means lacking in dignity or meaning. The service may incorporate readings, eulogies, prayers, and musical selections that reflect the faith, personality, and values of your loved one. Clergy, a celebrant, or a family member may preside over the service, and the natural setting of the cemetery often lends itself to a sense of peace and reflection that many families find deeply comforting.

A gravesite service is a fitting choice for families who prefer a more understated gathering. It is also a practical option for families with out-of-town guests or those who wish to keep arrangements simple without sacrificing the opportunity to gather and say a proper goodbye.

Our team will coordinate every detail with the cemetery and ensure that the gravesite setting is arranged with care and respect.

Floral arrangements, personalized programs, and other meaningful touches can be incorporated to make the service a true reflection of the life being honored. As always, our staff will be present to guide and support your family every step of the way.

Forwarding of Remains

For decades, we have specialized in meeting domestic and international shipping requirements — including consulate requirements, Secretary of State apostilles, translations, county notary public verifications, obtaining letters of non-contagious disease from county health departments, medical examiner and coroner offices.

Specialists in shipping container and casket requirements, we commonly provide options that other funeral homes are unable to obtain in a short amount of time, giving your family more choices and greater peace of mind.

Receiving of Remains

Receiving Deceased from Another Funeral Home.

When a loved one passes away in another country, state, or city, the logistics of bringing them home can feel overwhelming — especially during an already difficult time. Our experienced team is here to handle every detail of the transfer process, coordinating with funeral homes, mortuaries, and authorities at the point of origin to ensure your loved one is returned to you with the utmost care and respect.

For domestic transfers, we work directly with funeral homes and airlines across the country to arrange prompt and dignified transportation. For international transfers, our decades of experience with consulate requirements, apostilles, customs documentation, and international shipping regulations means your family can trust that every detail is being handled by professionals who understand the complexities involved.

No matter where your loved one has passed, we will bring them home. Contact our team at any hour — we are available around the clock to begin the process and guide your family through every step.

Immediate Burial

Immediate burial, also known as direct burial, is a simple and affordable alternative to a traditional funeral service. Your loved one is transferred directly into our care and buried without a formal viewing or funeral ceremony.

While straightforward in nature, immediate burial is carried out with the same dignity and respect we extend to every family we serve. This option is chosen by families seeking a timely and understated approach — whether guided by personal, cultural, financial, or practical considerations.

For families who wish to gather and remember their loved one following the burial, a memorial service can be arranged at a later date — offering flexibility while still providing a meaningful opportunity to celebrate and honor the life lived.
